► The fees set and collected by the Board must be
sufficient to meet the expenses of administering the Podiatric
Medical Practice Act of Texas and the applicable Board
Rules/Regulations.

Texas Occupations Code §202.153 “Fees” provides that: “(a) The Board
by rule shall establish fees in amounts reasonable and necessary to
cover the cost of administering this chapter. The Board may not set
a fee that existed on September 1, 1993, in an amount less than the
amount of that fee on that date. (b) The Board may not maintain
unnecessary fund balances, and fee amounts shall be established in
accordance with this requirement.”
